The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for leading and managing sales volume forecasting while also providing comprehensive financial, analytical support to WI plants FCP and PM Divisions, including some financial and analytical support to the Regional Category Manager Logistics. They will collaborate with the commercial planning team to generate Finished Goods inventory projections that provide visibility for capacity planning and cash flow impact. This role will support the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process to ensure achievement of Ahlstrom commercial and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain inventory reports, dashboards, and forecasts
  • Identify trends, demand patterns, and potential risks in inventory flow
  • Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in inventory management
  • Utilize ERP or inventory management systems to track and manage stock data
  • Back up support to the Forecasting Team for the Wisconsin System
  • Lead the end-to-end demand and inventory forecasting process, delivering accurate short- and long-term projections through cross-functional collaboration, data validation, and continuous forecast accuracy tracking
  • Manage and analyze finished goods inventory levels and projections to support capacity planning, optimize working capital, and improve overall business performance
  • Support and provide backup for the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, including demand consensus, inventory alignment, and contribution to the Annual Operating Plan
  • Maintain and enhance forecasting tools and inventory reporting systems (e.g., Stratum, ReportsNow, IBP) in partnership with IT, ensuring data integrity and usability
  • Develop and deliver standard and ad hoc inventory analytics and reporting to support data-driven decision-making across supply chain, operations, and finance teams

Requirements:

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
  • Bachelor of Science in Business or Computer Science
  • 3+ years Supply Chain / Inventory Analyst experience preferred
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite software, and Excel
  • Highly skilled in data management and data manipulation
  • Highly skilled in process improvement and system optimization
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proficient in leveraging AI technologies and productivity tools to enhance efficiency and decision-making.
  • Experience with JD Edwards and Lean Methodology preferred
  • Experience within a manufacturing environment highly preferred
