Supply Chain Analyst - Plano, TX - Contract - $25-35 per HR
Description:
- Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments according to production schedules.
- Review and distribute production, work, and shipment schedules.
- Compile reports on inventory levels and costs.
- Analyze and evaluate product categories to identify root causes and corrective actions.
- Monitor key performance indicators and review escalations received from the field.
- Maintain inventories of materials and supplies to meet production demands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Examine documents, materials, and products to assess completeness, accuracy, and conformance to standards.
- Review production schedules and work orders to determine personnel and materials requirements.
- Record production data, including volume produced and consumption of raw materials.
- Requisition and maintain inventories of materials and supplies.
- Analyze costs related to manufacturing, labor, and materials.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, math, or a business-related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in an analytics-focused role.
- Proficient in generic office software for word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to shipping and production.
