Job Title: Supply Chain AnalystJob Description The Supply Chain Analyst will focus on capacity and inventory health within a rapidly growing managed spend business line. In this role, you drive continuous improvement across the supply chain network, design and implement solutions, and support the onboarding and ongoing success of new and existing customers. You use strong analytical skills, advanced Excel and SQL capabilities, and a solid understanding of systems and configuration management to build forward-looking inventory plans, enhance reporting, and improve productivity and quality through data-driven insights and GenAI applications. Responsibilities + Drive continuous improvement across the supply chain by identifying opportunities to streamline processes, reduce waste, and enhance overall efficiency. + Problem-solve complex operational challenges and design effective solutions for the supply chain network. + Maintain and update internal documentation to support internal training, knowledge sharing, and reference materials. + Monitor and manage inventory health for the managed spend business, ensuring appropriate stock levels and spend optimization. + Support growth of the managed spend program by helping to increase the number of customers and ensuring a smooth operational experience. + Work with customer RFQs (requests for quote), ensuring accurate, timely, and data-driven responses. + Lead or support the onboarding of new customers into reporting and operational systems, ensuring all required data, items, and configurations are in place. + Verify item availability and ensure that customers have the products and services they need to meet their operational requirements. + Create, place, and track purchase orders, and coordinate with retail teams to triage issues and ensure inventory is stocked appropriately. + Provide customers and internal stakeholders with clear reporting, dashboards, and process overviews to support transparency and decision-making. + Review key performance metrics regularly to monitor supply chain performance and identify trends or issues. + Conduct deep dives into metric outliers to determine root causes and develop corrective actions or process improvements. + Build forward-looking inventory plans that anticipate demand, support customer needs, and align with business objectives. + Develop and refine GenAI applications and tools to improve productivity, reporting quality, and decision-making across the supply chain function. + Collaborate and communicate effectively with partner teams, including operations, retail, procurement, and customer-facing teams, to ensure alignment and execution. Essential Skills + Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Transportation, Supply Chain, Operations, or a closely related discipline. + Strong mathematics, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills. + Proven analytical abilities with high proficiency in creating and managing advanced models using Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables. + Proficiency in SQL for building, querying, and managing data models and reports. + Background in analyst work or a strong analytical focus in higher education. + Conceptual understanding of systems and configuration management. + Proven written communication skills, with the ability to create clear documentation and reporting. + Strong verbal communication and people skills to collaborate with partner teams and customers. + Experience with supply chain management, including planning, procurement, inventory, and purchasing activities. + Demonstrated ability in data analysis and data entry with high attention to detail. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in an operations team focused on inventory health or managed spend programs. + Customer engagement and management experience, including working with RFQs and onboarding new customers. + Familiarity with ERP systems and reporting tools used for supply chain and inventory management. + Experience in vendor management, including coordinating with suppliers and retail teams to ensure adequate stock levels. + Background in customer service, with the ability to respond to customer needs and provide clear process overviews. + Exposure to or interest in building GenAI applications to improve productivity and quality. + Ability to work in a fast-growing business line with significant growth opportunities, adapting to evolving processes and requirements. + Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks such as reporting, planning, and stakeholder communication. Work Environment The role operates within an operations-focused environment that supports a growing managed spend business line. You spend a significant portion of your time reviewing key metrics, conducting deep dives into metric outliers, and building forward-looking inventory plans. A substantial part of the role involves developing or enhancing GenAI applications to improve productivity and quality, as well as working closely with partner teams across operations, retail, procurement, and customer-facing functions. The work is highly analytical and data-driven, relying on tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, ERP systems, and reporting platforms. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Seattle, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00/hr.
