Aerometals is looking to add the following position:
Supply Chain Associate
Pay range: $22 - $29 Hourly DOE
Schedule: Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 4:30pm and Friday 7:00am - 12:00pm
The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate the ability to:
- Be a point of contact for supplier related nonconformances.
- Collaborate with suppliers when corrected paperwork is needed.
- Assist with Time Sensitive Materials (TSM) by completing tasks such as:
- Buying TSM items and tracking expiration dates.
- Occasionally helping Planning look at TSM for upcoming jobs.
- Complete purchase orders for items such as, but not limited to: jobs, calibration, shop stock, office supplies, outside processing, non-job items, etc.
- Update PO internal notes with real time information such as: contact initiated with supplier, current status, due dates, tracking, reason codes, etc.
- Help maintain the approved supplier database by assisting with surveys, questionnaires, and/or certificates.
- Assist with supplier contracts, pricing, and areas for improvement for freight, suppliers, and service providers.
- Collaborate with the finance department to set up new suppliers.
- Clean up/close old purchase orders (PO's).
- Perform other duties as required by the organization.
