The Fountain Group is currently seeking a --------Supply Chain Associate I for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in --Clark, NJ.  Details for the position are as follows:
 
Job Title: Supply Chain Associate I
Location: Clark, NJ (Hybrid – 3 days onsite / 2 days remote)
Pay Rate: Up to $25/hr
Duration: 12 months with potential for extension/conversion to FTE

Job Description

  • Support promotional assembly and packaging operations across third-party manufacturers and logistics partners.
  • Monitor inventory health and coordinate replenishment of packaging materials.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and support inventory reconciliation activities.
  • Manage short-dated, excess, and obsolete inventory.
  • Coordinate shipments and material deliveries with 3PLs, contract packers, and suppliers.
  • Support vendor onboarding, documentation, and performance tracking.
  • Assist with promotional assembly planning, production scheduling, and material availability.
  • Validate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and track packaging components.
  • Generate and analyze operational reports using Excel and Power BI.
  • Track inventory, production, and OTIF performance metrics.
  • Support process documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Utilize SAP, Wrike, COSMO, EDI, and other supply chain systems.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Logistics, or a related field.

Required Skills

  • 1–3 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, manufacturing, or operations.
  • Inventory management and inventory reconciliation.
  • Promotional assembly and packaging operations.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel.
  • SAP or ERP systems.
  • Power BI reporting and data analysis.
  • Bill of Materials (BOM) validation.
  • Vendor and 3PL coordination.
  • Shipment scheduling and material planning.
  • OTIF performance tracking.
  • Experience with EDI, Wrike, and COSMO.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience supporting promotional packaging programs.
  • Packaging component lifecycle management.
  • Supply chain reporting and KPI analysis.
  • Inventory optimization, including excess and obsolete inventory management.
  • Process improvement within supply chain operations.
