Job Title: Supply Chain Coordinator
Location: Plainville, MA 02762 (Onsite)
Contract Duration: 3 months
Pay Rate Range: $26.00/hr. to $28.00/hr. on W2
Work Authorization: Only USC or GC
 
HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL DO
Position Summary:
  • The Temporary Supply Chain Coordinator supports the Supply Chain team by coordinating purchasing and material activities to ensure materials are available to support manufacturing schedules.
  • This role focuses on order management, inventory tracking, and communication with internal teams and suppliers to maintain the flow of materials.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Create, update, and expedite purchase orders to support production schedules.
  • Follow up with suppliers on purchase order status and delivery dates.
  • Resolve routine purchase order discrepancies, including pricing, quantities, and invoice issues.
  • Monitor material availability and communicate potential shortages or delivery delays to the Supply Chain team.
  • Support weekly material readiness meetings by providing status updates on open orders and critical materials.
  • Coordinate with Procurement, Quality, Manufacturing, and Warehouse teams to ensure materials are available when needed.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing and material information in SAP, including lead times, pricing, and vendor information.
  • Review inventory levels and assist with material replenishment activities.
  • Perform routine SAP transactions related to purchase orders, inventory, and material movements.
  • Assist with maintaining Bills of Materials (BOMs) and material master data as assigned.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing records, reports, and documentation.
  • Support cycle counts and inventory accuracy initiatives as needed.
  • Perform other administrative and supply chain support duties as assigned.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, manufacturing, or inventory coordination.
  • Experience using SAP or another ERP system REQUIRED.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience with S4Hana SAP Experience highly preferred.
