Kforce has a client in Woodbridge, VA that is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator responsible for supporting and coordinating supply chain operations to ensure the efficient flow of materials, products, and information throughout the organization. This role works closely with procurement, inventory, logistics, vendors, and internal stakeholders to maintain inventory accuracy, monitor shipments, resolve supply issues, and help optimize supply chain performance. Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the procurement, receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and products
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with inventory planning and replenishment activities
  • Track orders and shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any delays or discrepancies
  • Communicate with suppliers, carriers, warehouses, and internal departments regarding order status and shipment updates
  • Maintain accurate supply chain records, reports, and documentation
  • Analyze supply chain data and prepare reports related to inventory, purchasing, and logistics activities
  • Assist in forecasting demand and identifying potential supply chain risks
  • Investigate and resolve issues related to inventory shortages, damaged goods, shipping errors, and vendor performance
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost reduction, process efficiency, and customer satisfaction
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations
  • Participate in cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory reconciliations
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams including Operations, Finance, Manufacturing, Customer Service, and Sales

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement, inventory management, or operations coordination
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Experience working with ERP, MRP, or inventory management systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
  • High attention to detail and accuracy

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
