Build a robust purchasing process end to end, from quotation to supplier qualification to sustained relationship development.
Make clear trade-off decisions across cost, volume, quality, and speed as Redwood's business dynamics shift.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and partners to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials and components.
Oversee inventory management, demand planning, and logistics to ensure product availability and minimize lead times.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address supply chain challenges and implement solutions.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to supply chain operations.
Build, lead, and structure a high-performing supply chain team for products.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across supply chain efficiency, quality, and sustainability.
Rapidly synthesize findings and communicate them clearly to senior leaders.
Identify, assess, and mitigate risks to the business.
Desired Qualifications:
Deep procurement and supply chain leadership experience, ideally scaling a new product line from prototype to high volume.
Experience in supplier management and operations at manufacturing scale.
Hands-on experience developing power electronics supply chains in Asia and North America.
Experience building and managing supply chain teams.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to supply chain operations.
Willingness and ability to travel internationally and domestically.
A degree in engineering, supply chain, or business, or equivalent practical experience.
