Job Description

What if you could help a global industrial organization determine where AI and digital technology will create the greatest value across its supply chain—and then turn those opportunities into action?

Our client is seeking a Supply Chain Digitization Lead to shape its enterprise approach to digital supply-chain transformation. Rather than solving isolated problems one at a time, you will work across the value chain to identify high-impact opportunities, evaluate their feasibility and business value, and create a prioritized, multi-year transformation roadmap.

This is a highly visible individual-contributor role with CIO and CPO sponsorship. You will collaborate with supply-chain subject-matter experts, business leaders and technology teams across four distinct businesses.

This is not a traditional supply-chain operations role, an ERP implementation position or a project-management assignment. It is an opportunity to determine what should be transformed, why it matters and how the strongest ideas should move forward.

What You’ll Own

  • Assess opportunities across planning, procurement, inventory, logistics, warehousing and the broader supply-chain network.
  • Translate advancements in AI, automation, analytics and digital applications into practical business solutions.
  • Build and manage a prioritized portfolio of digital supply-chain opportunities.
  • Develop business cases that consider ROI, cost, feasibility, data readiness, integration, scalability and risk.
  • Create a multi-year transformation roadmap aligned with enterprise and business-unit priorities.
  • Advance selected initiatives from problem definition through prototype, pilot and validation.
  • Establish success measures tied to cost, service, inventory, productivity, working capital and risk reduction.
  • Transition validated solutions to established development and implementation teams.
  • Build alignment among executives, functional leaders, operational SMEs, analysts, developers and data engineers without relying on direct authority.

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience translating digital technology, AI, automation or analytics into practical business solutions.
  • Credibility within a complex industrial, manufacturing or supply-chain environment.
  • Evidence of personally assessing opportunities and creating a digital or business-transformation roadmap.
  • Experience moving an initiative from problem identification through business case, pilot, validation and adoption.
  • The ability to influence executives, technology partners and operational stakeholders who do not report to you.
  • Strong business judgment, including the ability to balance potential value with feasibility, cost, data readiness and organizational risk.
  • The communication skills to make complex technology understandable, relevant and actionable for business leaders.

Why Consider This Opportunity?

  • Establish an enterprise capability rather than inherit a completed roadmap.
  • Influence future digital and AI investment decisions across four businesses.
  • Work with executive sponsors and established business and technology resources.
  • Solve complex challenges involving cost, risk, service, inventory, logistics, warehousing and network design.
  • Build visibility and potential career opportunities through measurable enterprise impact.

Location and Work Arrangement

The role may be based in Wisconsin's Fox Valley Area, with an expected hybrid onsite presence. Relocation assistance is available, and some flexibility may be considered based on the candidate and circumstances.
