**Job Description:** **Job Opportunity:** Supply Chain – Global Enterprise Planning Director **Location:** Can be based from UK, US, France, Denmark, Netherlands, Belgium or Poland **Type:** Full-time permanent Global Cross-Segment leadership of the Supply Chain Target Operating Model (TOM) and the related demand and supply planning processes within it, as part of the MSE Supply Chain programme. The role leads the development, initial deployment, embedding and continuous improvement phases, delivering a step change in our supply chain capabilities and accelerating our supply chain performance. **Key Responsibilities:** Own and lead the development, with a group of subject matter experts and MarsU, of the Supply Chain Target Operating Model (TOM) content, capability standards, training materials and assessment tools. This covers supply planning (including inventory management), material supply management, material planning and call-off. + Define key interfaces and drumbeat to other functions and parts of the supply chain (to markets and internal and external plants) and work closely with the global x-segment demand planning and inventory planning leads. + At a later stage, extend scope to initiative and change management planning, business planning (upstream) and long-term resource planning, once the initial scope is in place. + Define and codify key customers to be supplied with data—who gets what out of planning (internal and external) and key sources for the information, including the communication drumbeat. + Define the layout and flow of tasks and how they connect (daily/weekly/period), and the meeting SIPOCs, including tools for in-process measurement. + Develop and own the audit framework for the scope above, including KPIs to measure both capability and performance. + Develop necessary capability-building materials in close collaboration with the MSE Academy and MarsU, including competency profiles for key roles within enterprise planning and delivery of training to ensure regional capability. + Lead global x-segment community of practice (COP) of functional experts from all key regions and segments to drive ongoing capability building and continuous improvement of processes, materials and the audit framework. **Job Specifications/Qualifications** + Supply Chain Master’s degree or equivalent experience gained. + Robust and successful experience as a leader within supply chain (e.g., Demand/Supply/Inventory Planning Manager, Sales Operations Manager, Activity Manager, Value Stream Manager, Supply Chain Manager); extensive experience in supply chain. + Deep knowledge and experience in supply chain planning and related areas. + Proven track record of managing operations and driving improvement programs in the supply chain. **What can you expect from Mars?** + Work with diverse and talented Associates, all guided by the Five Principles. + Join a purpose driven company, where we’re striving to build the world we want tomorrow, today. + A strong focus on learning and development support from day one, including access to our in-house Mars University. + An industry competitive salary and benefits package, including company bonus.
