The Supply Chain Implementation Advisor plays a foundational role in building a resilient, compliant, and scalable Supply Chain organization capable of supporting long-term company growth. This role is not only operational in scope but transformational in mandate - establishing the structure, systems, governance, and cross-functional alignment necessary to create a high-performing Supply Chain department. This position partners closely with leaders across Engineering, Facilities, Production, Finance, Quality, and Operations to align supply chain strategy with company objectives. Essential Functions Strategic Advising & Department Development Working under the direction of the VP and in close coordination with department heads (Finance, Production, Engineering, Quality, and Operations), the Advisor: - Leads the design and build-out of a formal Supply Chain department, including governance structure, role clarity, decision rights, and performance accountability
- Develops and aligns a multi-year supply chain strategy that supports company growth, operational scalability, and regulatory requirements
- Advises executive leadership on supply chain risks, tradeoffs, capital investments, and working capital optimization
- Establishes and communicates enterprise-wide supply chain KPIs and reporting structures
- Builds cross-functional alignment mechanisms to support integrated planning, inventory strategy, and execution excellence
- Recommends and supports implementation of systems, tools, and technologies to modernize supply chain operations
- Develops supply chain budgeting frameworks in partnership with Finance to ensure financial objectives are achieved
- Establishes S&OP and capacity planning processes across departments to align demand, supply, and production capabilities
- Advises on strategic sourcing, vendor selection, and negotiation to secure optimal pricing, quality, and terms
- Serves as a member of the site leadership team, influencing supply chain performance from material ordering through customer delivery
- Coordinates closely with Production, Engineering, Finance, and Quality to align inventory strategy, production scheduling, and distribution planning
- Builds structured collaboration models between supply chain and other departments to reduce silos and improve execution
- Partners with Operations and Finance to optimize working capital, inventory turns, and cost efficiency
- Ensures purchasing, planning, warehouse, and distribution processes are aligned with company objectives
- Advises managers and functional leaders to ensure successful, timely, and cost-effective order fulfillment
- Facilitates communication between internal stakeholders and external partners, vendors, and service providers
- Establishes enterprise-wide supply chain policies and standardized procedures
Process Optimization, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Compliance - Identifies, develops, and implements innovative processes/technologies to support the continual improvement of existing products, equipment, and manufacturing operations
- Establishes quantitative and qualitative performance standards to evaluate efficiency and effectiveness
- Drives continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, increase productivity, and enhance service levels
- Collaborates with Quality and Nuclear Services/RSO to ensure compliance with NRC, cGMP, ISO 13485:2016, and other regulatory requirements
- Advises on quality performance improvement and OTIF (On-Time In-Full) delivery optimization
- Supports regulatory compliance across procurement, storage, manufacturing scheduling, and distribution
- Ensures data integrity in production planning, inventory systems, and reporting

Required Education and Experience - Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management, Warehousing/Supply Chain/Logistics, or related field
- 15+ years of progressively increasing managerial experience in a production environment
- 10+ years of supply chain experience in the pharmaceutical industry
- Significant experience in positive influencing without direct authority
- 5+ years of experience coaching and mentoring for supply chain staff
- Knowledge of cGMP regulations and knowledge of MRP/ERP systems
- ERP System rollout experience
Preferred Qualifications/Skills: - Advanced degree in Supply Chain Management practice or MBA
- Hands-on experience utilizing lean principles for continuous process improvements (Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, 5S)
- 12+ years of supply chain experience in the pharmaceutical industry
- Familiarity with NRC requirements for waste handling, storage and distribution
