Job Summary

As a Supply Chain Intern, you will perform input for previously established procedures and/or systems, assist in establishing and/or maintaining a suppliers list, preparing, issuing and receiving requests for quotation, and assist in evaluating quotations. The Procurement Intern will develop knowledge in the use of procurement department software, review and process purchasing documents, prepare/issue/maintain records of purchase orders, and may process approvals for supplier invoices and maintains necessary records.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform input for previously established procedures and/or systems
• Implement firms and departments Policies and Procedures
• Assist in establishing and/or maintaining a Suppliers List
• Assist in preparing, issuing and receiving Requests For Quotation
• Assist in evaluating quotations
• Develop knowledge in the use of Procurement Department software
• Review and process purchasing documents
• Prepare/issue/maintain records of purchase orders
• Learning procurement process
• May process approvals for supplier invoices and maintains necessary records

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred bachelors or masters degree in Supply Chain or Procurement.

Minimum Qualifications

Current enrollment in a 4 year program in Supply Chain, Business, Technical / Engineering, Construction Management or related field program. All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
