Supply Chain Inventory Coordinator Tech II

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable professional who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment and is passionate about inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and customer service excellence.

Position Summary

The Supply Chain Inventory Coordinator Tech II is responsible for coordinating and assisting with the daily support of supply chain operations, including inventory management, replenishment, and control of perpetual and par locations throughout the facility. This role ensures supplies are accurately stocked, organized, and available to support clinical and operational teams.

Essential Functions

  • Identify excess inventory, return stock, and process credits as appropriate.

  • Notify leadership of outdates, slow-moving inventory, and operational concerns impacting efficiency.

  • Rotate dated stock and maintain appropriate inventory levels in par locations, procedural rooms, and Central Supply warehouse areas.

  • Utilize handheld devices to inventory supply locations and replenish stock accurately.

  • Create and maintain bin locations and labels as needed.

  • Provide excellent customer service while responding to telephone and customer inquiries.

  • Expedite correction of discrepant orders with the purchasing department.

  • Monitor and report inventory discrepancies, volume changes, and fluctuations.

  • Assist with implementing process improvements to enhance workflow and operational efficiency.

  • Maintain organization and accuracy of warehouse and par locations, including replenishment and labeling systems.

  • Follow procedures for accurate receiving, reconciliation, and delivery of shipments.

  • Participate in putaway and validation processes for perpetual inventory items.

  • Issue and credit materials using the inventory management point-of-use system.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Support patient care operations through effective problem-solving and inventory management.

  • Process and maintain system file updates related to inventory locations and replenishment.

  • Perform regular cycle counts and inventory audits.

  • Maintain a professional appearance and communication style at all times.

  • Operate supply chain equipment as needed.

Qualifications

Education & Training

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Basic computer skills required

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills preferred

Licensure/Certification

  • Valid driver’s license required

Experience

  • Two (2) years of related warehouse, inventory, or customer service experience required

  • An Associate’s degree may substitute for the required experience
