    Job Description

    Position Summary

The Supply Chain Inventory Analyst helps keep medication inventory across Pure Infusion clinics in balance — available enough to avoid delaying patient treatment, lean enough to minimize waste and Days Inventory on Hand (DIOH), and accurate enough to support cost control and operational reporting. Using data, purchasing trends, and forecasting, this role identifies opportunities to improve how inventory is managed across the organization.

A significant part of this role is tracking, documenting, and reporting on medication waste, expiration, and returns across clinics, and using that analysis to identify and address recurring drivers of loss. The Analyst also partners with Supply Chain, Clinical Operations, and clinic staff to redistribute existing inventory ahead of new purchases, and supports accurate reporting and continuous improvement across Pure Infusion's inventory operations.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    •        Develops methods, processes, and dashboards to support inventory analysis, monitoring, and reporting.

    •        Validates inventory data across multiple systems and flags discrepancies for resolution.

    •        Tracks and analyzes Days Inventory on Hand (DIOH) and inventory turnover to identify opportunities to reduce excess stock and minimize waste.

    •        Partners with Supply Chain leadership to establish and monitor inventory-related KPIs.

    •        Contributes insights on inventory trends, wholesaler performance, and demand forecasting.

    •        Identifies trapped, slow-moving, or at-risk inventory — including inventory tied to canceled, rescheduled, or changed appointments — and evaluates or facilitates redistribution opportunities between clinics.

    •        Maintains documentation and centralized reporting for medication transfers, waste, expiration, returns, damage, and other inventory adjustments across Pure Infusion clinics.

    •        Reviews clinic inventory for approaching expiration, communicates risk to Supply Chain leadership, and performs root-cause analysis to identify recurring drivers of waste and expiration.

    •        Collaborates with the Supply Chain Manager and Clinical Operations to troubleshoot and resolve clinic-level inventory issues and discrepancies.

    •        Partners with the Supply Chain team to apply existing clinic inventory toward upcoming patient demand before new purchases, and recommends clinic-level education, process improvements, or corrective action for recurring inventory issues.

    •        Participates in periodic physical and cycle-count activities, including handling and counting medication inventory and related packaging.

    •        Develops and improves written inventory-related policies and procedures.

    •        Cross-trains on and provides backup coverage for other Supply Chain functions as needed.

Significant policy or process changes arising from this work are reviewed and approved by the Supply Chain Manager; day-to-day analysis, process development, and recommendations are performed independently.

    Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has no supervisory responsibilities and no direct reports.

    Required Qualifications

    •        Proficiency with data analysis and reporting tools sufficient to build and maintain dashboards and standardized reports.

    •        Strong analytical and root-cause problem-solving skills.

    •        Working knowledge of inventory management concepts, including Days Inventory on Hand, inventory turnover, cycle counting, and expiration/waste management.

    •        Ability to validate and reconcile data across multiple systems.

    •        Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate regularly with Clinical Operations, clinic staff, and Supply Chain leadership.

    •        Ability to document and communicate process and policy recommendations clearly.

    •        Ability to exercise independent judgment and manage competing priorities across multiple clinic locations.

    Preferred Qualifications

    •        Experience in a healthcare, specialty pharmacy, or infusion-therapy environment.

    •        Experience working with pharmaceutical Wholesalers, medical supplies Distributors and pharmaceutical manufacturers

    •        Experience with purchasing data, inventory data and  ERP systems used across multiple sites or locations.

    Education and Experience

    •        Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, healthcare administration, data/business analytics, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

    •        Approximately 2–4 years of experience in inventory management, supply chain analytics, healthcare/pharmaceutical operations, or a related analytical role, including experience building reports or dashboards and analyzing operational or purchasing data.

    Licensure / Certification Requirements

No professional licensure or certification is required for this position. Employees who handle medication inventory must follow all applicable Pure Infusion Pharmacy and Compliance policies and procedures, including requirements related to medication access, inventory control, security, documentation, and controlled substances.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies

    •        Data analysis and reporting proficiency, including dashboard and report development.

    •        Rigor in data validation and discrepancy resolution.

    •        Effective cross-functional collaboration and communication across Supply Chain, Clinical Operations, and clinic staff.

    •        A process-improvement orientation, including policy/procedure development and KPI monitoring.

    •        Working knowledge of pharmaceutical-specific inventory concepts, including DIOH, expiration and waste management, and wholesaler dynamics.

    Physical Requirements

    •        Primarily computer-based analytical work requiring extended periods of sitting and computer use.

    •        Periodic standing and walking associated with on-site physical and cycle-count activity.

    •        Ability to handle and count medication inventory and related packaging and materials.

    •        Ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed during physical and cycle-count activities.

    •        Participates in physical and cycle-count activities on an approximately quarterly basis.

    Work Environment

    •        Onsite, Arizona-based work environment.

    •        No regular exposure to refrigerated or cold-storage areas is expected.

    •        No travel required.
