We’re committed to creating value for our residents and investors by improving properties and streamlining operations. As we grow, we’re seeking a Supply Chain Manager to support our renovation and maintenance logistics in Birmingham.

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Purchase supplies, tools, equipment, and renovation materials; create, track, and reconcile purchase orders with a focus on accuracy in pricing, quantities, and delivery timelines
  • Build and manage vendor relationships — obtain and compare quotes, negotiate pricing, and evaluate vendor performance
  • Identify and implement process improvements across procurement, receiving, and inventory workflows
  • Manage daily warehouse operations including receiving, storing, and dispatching materials
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, perform regular cycle counts, and resolve discrepancies
  • Coordinate with property managers, maintenance crews, and contractors to fulfill material requests
  • Implement and optimize warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP tools
  • Track KPIs such as inventory turnover, order accuracy, purchasing cost savings, and fulfillment speed
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety policies
  • Support logistics for renovation projects and property upgrades

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in purchasing, warehouse, logistics, or inventory management
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree required (Supply Chain, Business, or related field)
  • Procurement experience including vendor coordination, purchasing workflows, and PO/invoice reconciliation
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a track record of accurate records and error-free ordering
  • Demonstrated ability to improve processes and drive operational efficiency
  • Familiarity with ERP or inventory software (such as NetSuite, SAP, Odoo, or Fishbowl WMS)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet
  • Knowledge of construction/renovation materials is a plus
  • Spanish language skills are a plus
