IDR is seeking an Onsite Supply Chain Manager to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Tennessee.
This role offers an exciting chance to lead and transform a supply chain organization within a rapidly growing healthcare company specializing in value-based, in-home patient care. The position involves strategic planning, vendor negotiations, inventory management, and building high-performing teams to achieve cost savings and operational excellence.
Position Overview for the Supply Chain Manager:
- Lead end-to-end supply chain strategy, including procurement, inventory, logistics, and fulfillment processes.
- Establish KPIs such as inventory turns and service levels to ensure optimal performance and cost reduction.
- Build, mentor, and develop a supply chain team of 3-5 professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement using Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
- Negotiate supplier agreements, conduct spend analyses, and manage contract lifecycle to maximize savings and mitigate risks.
- Oversee category management, forecasting, and implement scalable logistics solutions for national delivery.
Requirements for the Supply Chain Manager:
- 8+ years of progressive supply chain, procurement, or operations leadership experience in healthcare or medical device industries, including managing 5+ direct reports.
- Proven track record of delivering 10-15% YoY cost savings through spend analysis, strategic sourcing, and vendor negotiations.
- Experience in enterprise ERP and WMS systems implementation or oversight, with strong forecasting skills.
- Contract management expertise, including redlining and stakeholder negotiations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
