Our established manufacturing client in Passaic County, NJ is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to oversee warehousing, transportation, inventory management, shipping and receiving, and distribution operations. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for driving operational efficiency, optimizing supply chain performance, controlling costs, and ensuring products are delivered safely, accurately, and on time while leading a high-performing team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day logistics, warehousing, transportation, shipping, receiving, and distribution operations.

  • Develop and execute supply chain strategies that support business goals.

  • Manage inventory levels and ensure efficient material flow throughout the organization.

  • Oversee inbound and outbound freight activities and carrier relationships.

  • Monitor KPIs related to delivery performance, inventory accuracy, warehouse productivity, and transportation costs.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

  • Lead, develop, and mentor logistics and supply chain team members.

  • Partner with production, planning, procurement, customer service, and sales to ensure operational alignment.

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

  • Manage logistics budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Business, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 10+ years of supply chain, logistics, distribution, or operations experience.

  • Strong knowledge of warehousing, transportation, inventory management, and distribution operations.

  • Experience with ERP and WMS systems

  • APICS (CPIM/CSCP) and/or Lean Six Sigma certifications preferred.
