You will coordinate sourcing, tendering, contract negotiation, and supplier management while ensuring alignment with operational and production needs. The role also covers inventory control, logistics coordination, and cost optimization. In addition, you will ensure compliance with company policies, financial controls, and EHS standards, while working closely with Operations, Maintenance, and Finance to ensure efficient and reliable supply chain performance. Key responsibilities • Accountable for developing and executing supply chain, covering sourcing, procurement, contracts, logistics, warehousing, and inventory strategies in line [ AM1.1] with operational and business objectives at DPM Metals BH. • Ensure alignment of supply chain activities with production requirements and overall site operational plans. • Leads end -to-end procurement activities including sourcing, tendering, bid evaluation, contract negotiation, award and Purchase Order Management. • Ensure contracts are executed in line with company policies, commercial terms, and performance requirements. • Oversees Item Master data, inventory control, warehousing, and material flow to ensure availability while optimizing cost and stock levels. • Coordinates logistics and transport activities to ensure timely and efficient supply of materials and services. • Manage relationships with key suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure effective. • Internal customer support and cooperation with stakeholders from all functions, including Operations and Maintenance. • Effective Team management including coaching, mentoring and training Supply Chain team members. • Continuous Improvement and Transformation of Supply Chain processes and practices. DPMetals BH DPMetals BH d.o.o www.dpmmetals.com | Tel: +387 32 844 553 2|5 • Resolves supplier issues, disputes, and performance gaps in line with contractual obligations. • Monitors procurement spending and identifies opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvement. • Ensures compliance with internal policies, KPIs, financial controls, and EHS standards, and provides regular reporting to management. • Ensures full compliance with applicable mining, environmental, health and safety regulations in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as internal corporate standards and international best practices. • Integrates EHS requirements into all supply chain activities supporting mining operations, including procurement of equipment, services, explosives, fuel, and logistics. • Works closely with suppliers, contractors, and site operations to ensure safe execution of activities in high -risk mining environments (open pit/underground operations where applicable). • Monitors supplier and contractor EHS performance and ensures implementation of corrective actions, audits, and continuous improvement measures. Requirements Knowledge and Competencies • Strong understanding of sourcing, procurement, contract management, logistics, warehousing, inventory management and all elements of supply chain principles. • Strong analytical skills to assess market conditions, pricing trends, material availability, and global market developments relevant to production. • Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and understanding of global supply markets. • Ability to resolve grievances, claims, and disputes in a fair and commercially sound manner. • Knowledge of financial controls and functional KPIs. • Understanding of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulations and compliance requirements. • Familiarity with warehousing equipment and material handling operations. • Knowledge of supplier and stakeholder relationship management practice. • Good customer service mindset to support operations and maintenance Technical Skills • Advanced ability to prepare and present procurement, inventory, and commercial reports on senior leadership. • Strong negotiation and contract management skills. • Ability to resolve disputes, claims, and supplier issues in a commercially sound and fair manner. • Experience working with Finance on payments, reconciliations, and contract compliance. • Knowledge of warehouse operations, equipment management, and asset safety. Professionals and general qualifications • University degree in Economics, Engineering, or a relevant technical discipline. • Additional professional certifications in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or commercial management (if applicable). • Proven ability to develop and implement supply chain, logistics, and inventory management strategies, policies, and procedures. • Experience monitoring company spending, inventory performance, and identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements. • Expertise in managing tendering processes, reviewing bid documents, and awarding contracts in line with company policies. • Skilled in managing procurement operations, issuing purchase orders, and resolving issues related to defective or non -compliant goods and services. • Familiarity with Third Party Due Diligence (3PDD) processes, including data collection, verification, evaluation, and ongoing monitoring. • Experience contributing to annual budget development and managing financial and material resources efficiently. • Ability to prepare and deliver comprehensive purchasing, inventory, and commercial reports for senior leadership.
