Job Profile

This role combines end-to-end supply chain management with hands-on expediting to ensure materials and products are delivered on time to meet production and customer commitments. This position is focused on ensuring critical materials and equipment are delivered on time to meet field installation schedules and customer commitments. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage urgency, and takes ownership of resolving supply issues quickly.

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage material availability by planning supply, monitoring inventory, and aligning with demand and project schedules
  • Track and expedite purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery of critical materials and equipment
  • Proactively identify and resolve shortages, delays, and supply risks to prevent service or deployment disruptions
  • Coordinate recovery actions, including expedited freight, alternate sourcing, and supplier escalations
  • Maintain real-time visibility of order and material status; communicate risks, delays, and updates to stakeholders
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for material escalations and field-driven priorities
  • Collaborate closely with procurement, suppliers, and field operations to align on critical needs and timelines
  • Monitor supplier performance and drive accountability for delivery, responsiveness, and issue resolution
  • Ensure accuracy of order, inventory, and delivery data within ERP/MRP systems
  • Support material staging, kitting, and distribution to meet installation and deployment schedules
  • Continuously improve expediting processes, response times, and supply chain efficiency

 

Requirements/Key Experiences

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or related field
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and leadership skills
  • Experience in ERP / planning systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
  • Proven experience managing end-to-end supply chain operations
  • Ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels
  • Ability to travel up to 25% including nights and weekends, as needed
