The role is responsible for assisting New Product Introduction (NPI) logistics operations for Amazon Robotics. This includes collaborating with the NPI Logistics Program Lead and Head of Global Logistics to drive daily operations and continuous improvement to yield world class results through globally consistent processes metrics driven performance and incremental process automation. The ideal candidate will draw upon exemplary project management, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, and a passion for creating reliable and maintainable systems for warehousing and transportation processes.

Key job responsibilities

  • Assist business cases for new warehouse distribution and transportation optimization strategies.
  • Work across cross functional teams to create the best possible capacity plan for current/future years within Amazon Robotics fulfillment network.
  • Create and execute strategic sourcing projects that will support the teams' development of an end-to-end sourcing/supply chain plan from concept to global deployment.
  • Support contract negotiations with external partners, eg. ramp-ups and ramp down of warehouses, transportation cost reduction.
  • Drive operational excellence by developing and improving standard operating procedures for NPI Logistics, creating and monitoring KPIs and SLAs.
  • Thought leader for cost efficiencies and frugality initiatives.
  • Complete total cost of ownership analysis to ensure project cost are meeting or beating cost objectives.
  • Effectively manage and deliver projects within scope, time, budget and quality
  • Work to create white papers and planning cycle documents and influence senior leadership.
