Position Responsibilities:

  • Ensure department performance goals are met; Perform analysis on KPIs (i.e. forecast accuracy, forecast error, order changes, short lead times, and transfers)
  • Contribute to the S&OP/S&OE (sales and operation planning / execution) process with suppliers, customers, distribution center operations, and other Supply Chain groups to collaborate on forecasts, promotions, new item launches, and other activities
  • Develop a knowledge and understanding of seasonal and promotional sales patterns to provide oversight on forecast adjustments
  • Continuously assess inventory planning for process improvements to successfully manage the complexity of the customer's needs
  • Provide oversight on potential liability, overstocks, system maintenance, and ordering parameters to ensure team is executing successfully
  • Ensure planners maintain optimal safety stock levels to ensure no breaks in supply to restaurants or large overstocks in the distribution center
  • Other projects or duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 6 to 8 plus years of related experience and 3 plus years of leadership experience or High School Diploma/General Education Degree (GED) with 9 to 11 plus years of specific experience and 5 plus years of leadership experience

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Master's Degree
