Job Title: Manager, Nursing Supply Chain & Value Analysis

Role Type: Manager
Duration: 12 months (Contract-to-Hire)
Travel Requirement: Up to 50–75%

Role Overview

The Manager, Nursing Supply Chain & Value Analysis is a nursing-focused supply chain leader responsible for high-volume medical and surgical consumables across acute and critical care settings. This role emphasizes breadth over depth, with ownership spanning Med/Surg, ICU, ED, Infection Prevention, and general nursing/patient care categories.

The individual will partner closely with nursing leadership to drive SKU rationalization, product standardization, value analysis initiatives, and large-scale product conversions, delivering both clinical alignment and measurable cost savings.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Supply Chain & Value Analysis

  • Drive SKU rationalization and product standardization initiatives across nursing-driven clinical areas
  • Lead nursing-focused Value Analysis projects, including product evaluations, trials, and implementation plans
  • Manage high-volume product conversions (e.g., gloves, IV sets, wound care, consumables) with minimal clinical disruption
  • Deliver sustainable savings through contract optimization, vendor consolidation, and utilization management
  • Negotiate pricing and terms for med/surg and nursing-driven consumable contracts

Clinical & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Partner closely with Chief Nursing Officers (CNOs), nursing directors, clinical leaders, and Infection Prevention teams
  • Influence nursing stakeholders to adopt standardized products while balancing quality, safety, and clinician preference
  • Serve as the primary supply chain subject matter expert for nursing and patient care product categories
