As a Supply Chain Manager within Sales and Operations Execution (S&OP), you will optimize our fulfillment operations and concentrate on managing the flow of goods, information, and services within the supply chain network. You will have a holistic view of supply and demand within the Amazon fulfillment network and be an integral part in creating and implementing large scale strategic initiatives in inventory optimization, transportation cost, labor capacity management, and more - all with the goal of better serving our customers. As a Supply Chain Manager, you will take end-to-end ownership of operations with an emphasis on sales & operations plan execution, logistics optimization, network design, and analysis of operational efficiency.

In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Business, Operations, Supply Chain, Product, Finance, and more. In this role as a S&OP Supply Chain Manager, you will analyze data to identify opportunities for operational improvements, implement scalable systems, and drive automation to enhance efficiency and optimize the physical flow and operations within the supply chain network. Through managing network capacity initiatives and strategic projects, as well as overseeing cross-functional programs, your impact will be visible, ongoing, and contribute directly to our commitment to being the most customer-centric company on earth.

Key job responsibilities

  • Demonstrate strong Customer focus
  • Make sound business judgments to drive both tactical as well as strategic improvements
  • Own programmatic execution and the detailed and strategic levels
  • Identify, prioritize, and implement processes to eliminate defects in the supply chain
  • Create, develop, and drive solutions that lead to a richer end to end customer experience
  • Execute thorough root cause analysis and deliver results
  • Successfully operate and influence in a cross-functional capacity
  • Data mine by leveraging SQL/Python to influence key business decisions
