Description:

Overview
This role leads end-to-end production control, ensuring materials, capacity, and production plans are aligned from demand through shipment. The position is accountable for translating demand signals into executable manufacturing plans while driving continuous improvement across the supply chain.

The role partners closely with planning, procurement, manufacturing, warehousing, and customer-facing teams to maintain strong service levels, efficient inventory, and reliable operations.

This position requires full-time, on-site presence at the facility. 

Responsibilities:

  • Convert demand forecasts into actionable production and build plans.
  • Oversee master production scheduling to balance demand, capacity, and inventory.
  • Manage production control processes from material procurement through finished goods delivery.
  • Ensure schedules are effectively deployed across work centers and manufacturing operations.
  • Monitor system parameters (ERP/MRP), identify constraints, and address capacity or material gaps proactively.
  • Direct material planning activities to ensure timely availability of components.
  • Define and maintain inventory standards, including safety stock and WIP levels.
  • Manage excess and obsolete inventory in line with company guidelines.
  • Oversee inventory accuracy and physical count processes.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing supply chain and planning team.
  • Drive process improvements, system enhancements, and operational efficiency initiatives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to strengthen end-to-end supply chain performance and decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience in supply chain, materials planning, or production control, including at least 3 years in a leadership role (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience using ERP platforms (e.g., SAP) and electronic data systems.
  • Background in both high-mix/low-volume and high-volume manufacturing environments.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills.
  • Analytical mindset with solid problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Excel (intermediate or above).
