Supply Chain Execution Leader

Lead operational supply chain execution from supplier to manufacturing site while building the next-generation capabilities required for a more resilient, data-driven, and agile supply chain. This role ensures uninterrupted material flow, vehicle and service parts availability, and disciplined response to daily disruptionswhile simultaneously elevating team capability through innovation, digital adoption, and continuous upskilling.

You will manage and develop a high-performing team responsible for translating demand into executable supply plans, stabilizing operations, and modernizing supply chain execution across suppliers, plants, logistics partners, and internal stakeholders.

Operational Leadership & Execution

  • Own day-to-day operational supply chain execution to ensure material availability for automotive manufacturing and service parts fulfillment
  • Lead rapid issue identification, containment, and resolution for supply, capacity, logistics, and supplier disruptions
  • Partner cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Purchasing, Logistics, Engineering, Quality, and Finance to drive timely decisions and trade-offs
  • Manage and escalate operational risks with clear visibility to impact, recovery plans, and customer exposure
  • Monitor and improve core operational KPIs (material availability, supplier performance, inventory health, premium freight, schedule adherence)
  • Assess supplier ship plans, capacity constraints, and recovery actions to protect production and customer commitments

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

  • Lead the reimagination of operational supply chain processes, leveraging data, automation, and digital tools to improve speed, visibility, and execution discipline
  • Identify and deploy innovative solutions that reduce manual work, improve decision quality, and strengthen operational resilience
  • Translate emerging technologies and analytics into practical, scalable operational use cases
  • Drive standardization and simplification through improved tools, workflows, and operational playbooks
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement and problem-solving rigor, grounded in real-world execution

Talent Development & Upskilling

  • Build a future-ready supply chain organization by actively developing team capability in analytics, digital tools, systems thinking, and operational decision-making
  • Establish clear expectations for skill progression, learning, and capability building across the team
  • Coach leaders and individual contributors to operate effectively in high-ambiguity, fast-paced environments
  • Foster a learning culture that encourages curiosity, experimentation, and adoption of new ways of working
  • Lead performance management, succession planning, and talent development to ensure bench strength and long-term organizational health

Leadership & Communication

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years of experience across automotive supply chain, manufacturing operations, or service parts
  • 5+ years of experience in material flow, production scheduling or supplier management/logistics operations
  • Proven experience leading teams (minimum 45 direct reports) in complex, high-pressure operational environment
  • Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and capability transformation within an operational organization
  • Strong operational judgment with the ability to make timely decisions with incomplete information
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint; experience translating data into action
  • Executive-level communicator able to summarize issues, actions, and risks succinctly
  • Willing to travel 10-40% domestic + international
