Supply Chain Materials Operations Specialist

- Are you willing to jump in with materials moves between departments to keep production humming?
What you’ll do
- Receive, store, issue, and document materials with complete accuracy
- Verify incoming goods for quality compliance and record details in the ERP
- Monitor inventory health, forecast needs, and coordinate deliveries to meet demand
- Track shipments, escalate when necessary, and support regional materials strategies
- Provide data for vendor performance evaluations and prepare reports on inventory and delivery status
- Uphold 5S, safety, and quality practices daily
- Operate manual or powered material handling equipment to transfer items between departments
- Assist with additional responsibilities as assigned by management
What you bring
- 2+ years in inventory management, purchasing, or materials handling
- Advanced Excel skills; meticulous with data accuracy and analysis
- Excellent communication and attention to detail
- Knowledge of 5S and cycle counting
- Experience with ERP systems—or the drive to learn
Preferred
- Foundation in supply chain management principles
- Understanding of planning, procurement, and logistics
- Forklift certification a plus
- Bilingual candidates strongly preferred
