At L.L.Bean, we believe the outdoors brings out the best in all of us. We are committed to fostering a culture of belonging and creating safe, inclusive spaces where everyone feels welcome-both here and Outside. We value individual differences and are dedicated to maintaining an inclusive work environment where everyone can bring the best of their experience and talents and truly thrive.

Are you energized by change and inspired by helping others successfully navigate it? We're looking for an Organizational Change Management Lead to support our Fulfillment 2030 strategy. This is a high-profile initiative and a key priority within our Supply Chain End-to-End Program and a critical enabler of the enterprise's Vision 2030 goals.

In this role, you'll help lead the organization through a transformational journey, building excitement, understanding, and adoption as we implement a major warehouse management system replacement and reimagine the processes that will power our future. You'll be joining the Projects Team within Merch Supply Chain Operations, working alongside top project managers and helping build out our change management skill set.

If you're passionate about bringing people along through meaningful change and want to make a lasting impact across the Order Fulfillment Center and beyond, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the planning and execution of change management strategies for key Fulfillment & Supply Chain initiatives, ensuring employees are prepared, supported, and equipped to adopt new ways of working.
  • Partner with business leaders, project teams, and stakeholders to assess change impacts, identify risks, and develop plans that promote organizational readiness and successful adoption.
  • Create and implement communication, training, and engagement strategies that build awareness, increase understanding, and encourage sustained behavior change.
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement activities, gather feedback, and help address barriers to adoption throughout the change journey.
  • Apply established change management methodologies and tools to support project teams in delivering successful transformation outcomes.
  • Track adoption and readiness metrics, monitor progress, and recommend adjustments to improve change effectiveness and business results.
  • Support leaders and teams through periods of change by providing guidance, coaching, and practical solutions that minimize disruption and enhance employee experience.
  • Collaborate across functions to ensure change activities are aligned, integrated, and effectively executed across the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Use established frameworks and tools (e.g., stakeholder analysis, readiness assessments, communication planning) to drive consistent, scalable change practices across initiatives.

  • Define and deliver an integrated change strategy aligned to business objectives, ensuring a cohesive approach across process, technology, and organizational initiatives.

  • Lead impact assessments to understand how work, roles, and processes will change; identify risks, and implement targeted readiness actions to prepare teams for adoption.

  • Develop clear, actionable change management, communication and editorial plans for high profile, large-scale efforts that engage cross-functional stakeholders at all levels while enabling leaders to effectively champion change.

  • Coordinate the execution of change management, communication and editorial plans, working with partners to ensure regular and seamless communication is in place with little oversight.

  • Draft, edit and deliver clear, compelling messaging tailored to multiple formats and audiences.

  • Design and deliver practical training and capability-building initiatives that equip teams to perform in future-state ways of working and close skill gaps.

  • Establish success metrics, track adoption and progress, and continuously refine strategies to ensure changes are sustained and deliver intended business results.

  • Collaborate with program leaders, business teams, HR partners, and change champions to build alignment, reinforce ownership, and embed change into day-to-day operations.

  • Analyze structures, processes, and ways of working to identify improvement opportunities and ensure changes increase efficiency, clarity, and overall effectiveness.

  • Act as liaison with internal and external consultants, as appropriate, ensuring adequate information is readily available and coordinating activities in line with the project plan.

  • Develop and lead hypercare plans that extend beyond change efforts, providing targeted support, issue resolution, and reinforcement to stabilize adoption and ensure a smooth transition into new ways of working.

  • Establish and execute sustainment plans that embed changes into standard operations, reinforce behaviors over time, and ensure long-term adoption and business value realization.

  • May assume people management responsibilities and provides coaching and mentoring to subordinate group.

  • Assume additional related responsibilities as requested.
