This is a contract opportunity with potential for extension or direct hire. Starting pay range is $45 to $50 an hour.
Need an experienced candidate, ideally auto industry experience, hands on, self-motivated and strong attention to detail. This role is looking in the weeds and dealing with the nitty gritty and then having strong communication skills to relay your findings.
Position Summary
The Supply Chain Operations Support Specialist is responsible for supporting the activities of the Global Product Regulatory Compliance team (20 hrs) and the Center of Competency Team (20 hrs) in performing designated activities listed below.
Key Responsibilities Global Product Regulatory Compliance
- Audits & Compliance Assurance: Plan and perform product/process audits (PDCs, labeling, CoO); drive corrective actions to reduce non-compliant shipments and administrative deficiencies; maintain audit-ready evidence.
- Frustrated Shipment Resolution (PDCs): Lead cross-functional triage for CoO/labeling issues; perform root-cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurrence.
Key Responsibilities Center of Competency
- Ensure PDC adherence to operational controls including Sarbanes-Oxley assessments and effectiveness testing.
- Monitor internal inventory transaction and record accuracy correspondence, including emails and automated communication.
- Conduct data analysis, providing valuable insights and responding adeptly to queries from Operations, Finance, IT, materials, and internal/external auditors.
- Efficiently process system security requests, verify alignment with the assigned role and responsibilities, follow through to obtain approvals, store document for audit requirements and provide status feedback as required.
- Deliver individual/group training and continuously improve process training materials to deliver record accuracy assurance.
- Monitor material shipments between Mopar facilities and depot sites utilizing Stellantis and Mopar material control systems.
- Autonomously tackle challenges, facilitate effective meetings and comfortably present to senior leadership as required.
- Display proficiency in learning and operating various inventory and transportation management systems, as well as extension applications.
- Demonstrate excellent project management skills, encompassing material coordination, system enhancements and process automation opportunities.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration within the company to enhance operational synergy.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Access, Power BI, and Qlik for data analysis purposes.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in supply chain analysis, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Strong data analytics skills, with a proficient understanding of Microsoft Office and an intermediate to advanced proficiency using Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
- Proficiency in material warehouse management system, EDI, and data analysis software.
- Experience with SmartSheet, Qlik Sense, or QlikView is a plus.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Familiarity with audit controls and financial transaction management.
