Must be in office 5 days a week
Hours: 7-4 ish, this is to support our published hours.
No multiple weeks off for vacation (single days yes)
Must be able to accommodate to Holiday schedules
IE Week of Thanksgiving M-W NO PTO ( we are off Thursday and Friday).
Christmas to New years weeks are coordinated with the team for coverage, can t take off the last two weeks of the year. We work together as a team for coverage, so some PTO but no one takes both weeks off.
Excel is critical to the role Pivots, simple formula and be able to understand data use filters
Job Description:
The Supply Chain Planner is a critical part of our Fulfillment team within our Supply Chain organization.
This individual will interact regularly with customers and manage orders, shipments and customer inquiries.
The Supply Chain Planner will work closely with multiple teams and collaborate effectively in a team oriented environment.
Optimize customer experience, responsible for timely resolution/proactive results for Metro by dealer Channel.
Review and authorize applicable credits.
Reply/ Resolve Metro Dealer questions and Internal business partner emails (not consumer)
Receive, enter and validate customer orders, reserve inventory and determine delivery dates
Generate, analyze and monitor open order reports to validate system integrity, SLA, EDI and IDOCs
Establishes and maintains business relationships with Channel Managers, Logistics and Allocation Planning to assure on-time delivery, communication on backorder and resolution of picking, shipping and capacity issues
Aggregate, review and collaborate with allocation Planning to clear backorders, execute planning cycle to build loads, release orders to DC and drive the daily open order review process with key channel managers
Resolve return exceptions, coordinate adjustment to deductions with Finance, Channel Manager and Customer and authorize replacement or credit
Root-cause process failures and implement process improvements
.Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.
Qualifications:
1-2 years of supply chain experience
Understanding of supply chain systems and structures
Strong analytical skills with the ability to work independently and within teams
Ability to connect work in functional area upstream and or downstream in supply chain
Practical knowledge of Sales and Operations Planning
Working knowledge of Excel, basic formulas, pivots, etc..
Experience in SAP ECC/fulfillment systems preferred and Oracle Fusion
