Job TitleJoin a fast growing company that does meaningful environmental workJob DescriptionDemand Forecasting & Sales PlanningDevelop demand forecasts using sales trends, historical data, and market informationPartner with sales and operations teams to align forecasts with business objectivesMonitor forecast performance and adjust plans based on customer demand and business conditionsPrepare monthly demand plans and rolling forecastsSupport new product launches and demand planning activitiesProduction Planning & SchedulingCreate and maintain master production schedulesBalance supply and demand to maximize manufacturing efficiencyCoordinate schedules across multiple product lines and production areasIdentify and resolve scheduling conflicts and capacity constraintsExecute MRP (Material Requirements Planning) processes and manage schedule changesSupport just-in-time production initiatives where applicableLead Time & Delivery PerformanceMonitor and optimize production and procurement lead timesTrack on-time delivery performance and identify improvement opportunitiesManage customer delivery commitments and communicate realistic timelinesSupport priority and expedited orders while maintaining schedule integrityPrepare reports related to schedule adherence and delivery performanceERP & Planning SystemsExecute planning and scheduling activities within ERP systemsMaintain and update planning-related master data, including bills of materials, routings, and lead timesSupport ERP implementations, upgrades, and process improvementsGenerate planning reports, schedules, and KPI dashboardsTroubleshoot system issues and coordinate with support teams as neededFollow established planning processes and standard operating proceduresCross-Functional CollaborationPartner with inventory, procurement, manufacturing, and sales teams to support material availability and production goalsCoordinate supplier schedules and purchasing activities as neededSupport order management by providing realistic delivery datesParticipate in production and planning meetingsDocument planning decisions and maintain schedule change recordsContinuous ImprovementIdentify opportunities to improve forecast accuracy and scheduling efficiencySupport process standardization and documentation effortsParticipate in quality, compliance, and audit activitiesRecommend and implement process improvementsSupport initiatives focused on reducing lead times and improving customer satisfactionContribute to broader supply chain and operational improvement projectsAnalysis & ReportingPrepare routine schedule status reports and KPI summariesAnalyze forecast accuracy and schedule performanceDevelop dashboards and visual reports to support decision-makingCommunicate planning updates and delivery impacts to stakeholdersMaintain detailed records of planning assumptions and decisionsPresent planning insights to leadership and cross-functional teamsMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
