LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a global, innovation-focused organization to identify a Supply Chain Planner II. This role is responsible for supporting end-to-end supply chain planning, including demand forecasting, production scheduling, and material planning. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and able to collaborate across teams to ensure smooth operations and strong service levels.
Job Title: Supply Chain Planner II (Direct Hire)
Location: West Deptford, NJ
Salary: $82,000 - $85,000 annually
Key Responsibilities:
Supply & Demand Planning
- Plan material requirements and production schedules to meet customer demand
- Develop and maintain long-range forecasts for raw materials and procurement needs
- Monitor demand trends and adjust supply plans to ensure optimal inventory levels
- Support integrated business planning processes, including demand and capacity planning
Procurement & Data Management
- Partner with procurement teams to resolve material shortages and supply challenges
- Maintain accurate master data to support planning and reporting accuracy
- Create and manage purchase requisitions aligned with forecast and production needs
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with manufacturing, engineering, and operations to ensure production feasibility
- Lead supply and operations execution meetings, providing reporting, analysis, and follow-up actions
- Communicate risks, updates, and recommendations clearly to stakeholders
Analytics & Continuous Improvement
- Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
- Drive process improvements to enhance planning accuracy and operational efficiency
- Support development of planning standards, tools, and reporting processes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain planning, forecasting, or operations
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups; VBA is a plus)
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems or demand planning tools
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
