Summary:
The main function of this role is to coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments of an establishment according to the production schedule. The role involves reviewing and distributing production, work, and shipment schedules and compiling reports on inventory levels, costs, etc.
 
Responsibilities
  • Review and approve documents, materials, and products, and monitor work processes to assess completeness, accuracy, and conformance to standards and specifications.
  • Review and approve documents such as production schedules, work orders, and staffing tables to determine personnel and materials requirements, and material priorities.
  • Confer with department supervisors and other personnel to assess progress and discuss needed changes.
  • Revise production schedule when required due to design changes, labor or material shortages, or other interruptions.
  • Distribute production schedules and work orders to departments.
  • Confer with establishment personnel, vendors, and customers to coordinate production and shipping activities and resolve complaints or eliminate delays.
 
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 8-10 years related experience required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Analytics, or related field preferred.
  • Experience in supply planning, operations, supply chain, indirect supply planning, technology-related supply chain, sourcing and manufacturing, Sales & Operations Planning, material requirement planning systems and tools or related experience.
 
Skills
  • Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong ability to analyze costs related to manufacturing, labor, and materials.
  • Strong ability to accurately document and record customer/client information.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.
  • Strong knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to shipping and production.
  • Expert level in Power BI, MS Excel, and other MS Office applications.
 
Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $45.00 - $50.00 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
