Description

Join Rockwell Automation in Twinsburg, OH and be the force that turns demand into dependable output. As a Production Planner on our PCA team, you’ll synchronize materials, capacity, and schedules to keep our manufacturing lines running at peak performance.
You will report to the PCA Team Lead and will be on-site at our facility in Twinsburg, OH.
What You’ll Do
Release and sequence shop orders for designated product lines/projects based on available materials and capacity.
Track SAP exceptions and actual component consumption; coordinate with suppliers to resolve shortages and maintain availability.
Own inventory targets for assigned products; partner with Central Material Analysts and Master Schedulers to correct MIN / MAX violations using data-driven countermeasures.
Review and refine planning parameters with Central Material Analysts to set customer-focused safety stock and reorder points per our materials planning playbook.
Collaborate with Master Schedulers and Manufacturing Engineers to model short- and long-term capacity, reducing past due orders.
Develop and maintain material, manufacturing, and procurement strategies to support NPM (new product manufacturing) and product phase-outs.
Align with the Master Scheduler on monthly safety stock builds and targeted finished goods inventory plans.
Essentials
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.

Preferred
Minimum 2 years of related experience.
2+ years in Production and Inventory Control, Operations, Purchasing, or Manufacturing Engineering.
Bachelor's in Operations, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
APICS (CPIM/CIRM/CSCP) certification preferred or obtained within 24 months of hire.
Experience working in material control/production planning.
ERP planning expertise (SAP preferred).
Advanced proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
