Summary:
Responsibilities:
- Provide functional expertise and broad business input within brand/category business teams.
- Act as the primary voice of all Supply Chain (SC) functions within the project team.
- Facilitate communication and coordination of SC functional activities outside of team meetings.
- Develop and recommend an end-to-end supply chain execution strategy that meets short and long-term project objectives.
- Ensure successful activation of projects through start of ship and technical transfer.
- Provide leadership to ensure alignment between Strategic Business Unit (SBU) and SC functional objectives.
- Facilitate functional project reviews and communication plans to impacted supply chain sites and the greater SC organization.
- Manage SC implementation of product change concepts.
- Ensure appropriate speed to market for product changes.
- Support the SC feasibility process for chartered work.
- Ensure best-in-class supply execution, start of production/start of ship for new projects/promotions.
- Act as project manager for some projects, as assigned and depending on size & scope.
- Identify/recommend cost savings opportunities for assigned products/SBU.
- Collaborate with business team members to develop personal capability beyond functional SC expertise into business partnership.
- Build partnerships across SC sub-functions to deliver breakthrough results.
- Work with SC Integration resources to synchronize project status and priorities across constrained resources.
- Design and execute best practice business processes to ensure effective and efficient use of SC Solutions resources.
- Act as a role model to ensure effective team dynamics to deliver business priorities and engage required resources.
Requirements:
