We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Supply Chain & Purchasing Coordinator to support purchasing, logistics, inventory management, and supplier coordination for a growing operations team in Las Vegas. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, takes ownership of their work, and enjoys helping operations run efficiently and on schedule. As a key member of the operations team, you’ll play an important role in supporting material flow, supplier relationships, shipment coordination, inventory accuracy, and purchasing operations. You’ll work closely with vendors, warehouse teams, logistics providers, and internal departments to help ensure daily operations stay organized, efficient, and on track.

Schedule: 40hr/week (Day shift preferred).
Salary: $25–$30/hour DOE + growth opportunity

Location: Las Vegas, NV
Language: English, (French or Spanish is a plus).

Duties and Responsibilities:
Procurement & Purchasing
  • Create and manage purchase orders based on inventory levels and operational needs
  • Source materials and coordinate with approved suppliers on pricing, lead times, and order status
  • Track purchase orders and proactively follow up on delayed or urgent shipments
  • Verify quantities and resolve discrepancies related to incoming materials and deliveries
  • Support inventory replenishment and purchasing planning activities

Logistics & Inventory Support
  • Coordinate inbound shipments via ground, air, and freight carriers
  • Track shipments and communicate delivery updates or delays when needed
  • Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure timely receiving and inventory accuracy
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with maintaining appropriate stock levels
  • Support efforts to reduce shortages, delays, and obsolete inventory

Documentation & Compliance
  • Maintain organized records of purchase orders, invoices, freight documents, packing slips, and customs paperwork
  • Ensure supplier compliance documentation and certifications remain current and properly maintained
  • Assist with quality-related issues including damaged, incorrect, or defective materials
  • Support documentation accuracy, traceability, and operational record keeping standards

Internal Communication
  • Provide updates regarding purchasing activity, shipment status, inventory concerns, and supply chain risks
  • Communicate delays, shortages, or operational issues proactively to internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, warehouse, quality, and leadership teams to support workflow efficiency
Cost Control & Continuous Improvement
  • Monitor pricing trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and operational improvements
  • Support initiatives that improve purchasing efficiency, inventory accuracy, and supply chain reliability
  • Identify process inefficiencies and recommend practical workflow improvements
  • Assist with maintaining efficient ordering, logistics, and supplier coordination processes

Requirements

Education
  • Associates or Bachelors in Business, Engineering, or related field(Preferred)
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Required).

Work Experience & Technical Skills Requirement
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, logistics, inventory coordination, or related operations roles
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Experience coordinating shipments, inventory, suppliers, and purchasing activities
  • Comfortable using ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and Excel
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities effectively
  • Experience in manufacturing, distribution, industrial, or operations environments preferred
  • Experience with freight coordination, customs documentation, or regulated environments is a plus
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive and solutions-oriented with the ability to resolve issues quickly
  • Strong communicator who works well with vendors, logistics providers, and internal teams
  • Confident handling purchasing, shipment coordination, and inventory-related responsibilities
  • Dependable, resourceful, and able to work independently with minimal supervision

Customer Relationship Management
Supplier & Vendor Coordination
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers, carriers, and logistics partners
  • Support supplier evaluations related to delivery performance, communication, and quality
  • Coordinate with vendors regarding shipment schedules, order updates, and issue resolution
  • Assist with vendor pricing comparisons and purchasing cost control initiatives
Certificate & License Requirement
  • A valid driver's license.
