About the Company
We are a fast-growing global e-commerce company shipping to customers in over 180 countries. When a customer is down, every hour counts — and our purchasing team is a critical part of making sure parts move fast and commitments are kept.
About the Role
We're looking for a Supply Chain & Purchasing Coordinator who owns their work. Someone who catches problems before they become emergencies, follows through without being chased, and takes real pride in keeping operations running cleanly.
This is a high-visibility, high-impact role. You'll sit at the center of purchasing, vendor relations, sales, and warehouse — and what you do every day directly protects customer commitments and company revenue. You will work closely with operations management.
Is This Role Right for You?
Good fit if you:
• Naturally stay ahead of problems without being reminded
• Follow through consistently and take ownership of your work
• Thrive in a fast-paced, execution-focused environment
• Take pride in accuracy, urgency, and keeping things running reliably
• Use AI tools daily to work smarter and move faster
• Want real ownership — not just a task list
Not a fit if you:
• Wait to be told what to do
• Need constant direction or check-ins
• Prefer slow-paced or highly predictable work
• Treat follow-up as someone else's job
• Dislike being measured on results
• Haven't adopted AI tools into your daily workflow
What You'll Do
• Follow up daily on open Purchase Orders — nothing falls through the cracks
• Maintain accurate ETA dates in company systems that Sales can actually trust
• Communicate directly with vendors on delays, shortages, freight issues, and pricing changes
• Escalate risks early — before they hit customers or operations
• Help prevent stockouts and emergency purchasing situations
• Ensure receiving and A/P documentation is complete, accurate, and timely
• Use AI tools to research vendors, draft communications, summarize information, and solve problems faster
• Work cross-functionally across purchasing, sales, warehouse, and accounting
What Success Looks Like
• Sales has ETA data they can rely on
• Fewer operational surprises and emergency purchases
• Clean, accurate receiving and A/P documentation
• Issues surface fast — not after they've already caused damage
What We're Looking For
Required:
• Bachelor's degree
• 3–5+ years in purchasing, supply chain, logistics, or inventory operations
• Strong vendor communication and organizational skills
• High attention to detail and genuine sense of urgency
• Strong Excel and hands-on ERP / inventory system experience
• Comfortable using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, or similar) to improve daily work — vendor research, drafting communications, summarizing information, and solving problems faster
A plus:
• Experience with overseas purchasing or international logistics
• Bilingual English / Spanish
Compensation & Benefits
• $62,000–$72,000 depending on experience
• Employer-paid medical insurance — we fully cover the premium on a wide selection of health plans through our benefits partner
• Employer-paid dental insurance
• Employer-paid vision insurance
• Employer-paid life insurance
• Paid time off
• Paid company holidays
• Access to additional voluntary benefits through our benefits partner
• Full-time, stable position with a growing global company
