Job Summary

The Supply Chain Services Service Line Coordinator develops, implements, and manages a supply help system. This system meets the needs of the facility''s specialty area. The coordinator serves as a departmental liaison for SCS with key departments.

Essential Functions of the Role

• Builds and maintains par level systems for procedure-specific departments within the hospital. Confirms accurate receiving of products for specific departments. Verifies hospital deliveries and delivers to the appropriate department.
• Provides resource help for expense reduction opportunities. Documents monthly supply cost savings and inventory reductions.
• Maintains records like requisition dates, delivery verifications, invoice price confirmation, back-orders, and implant pricing. Ensures accurate tracking of supply data, including back-orders, manufacturer numbers, expiration dates, product recalls, and lot numbers.
• Processes department-specific supply and implant requisitions. Confirms accuracy of requisitions. Monitors delivery date expectations. Works with department staff to ensure implant information accuracy.
• Helps maintain inventory by reducing it while keeping enough supplies for stores and special orders.
• Performs regular checks of expiration dates. Handles removal, replacement, and documentation as directed by department leadership and SCS Director.

Key Success Factors

• Healthcare supply chain related experience preferred.

• Ability to lifting up to 50 lbs preferred.

• Basic communication skills.

• Experience in related job.

• EDUCATION - H.S. Diploma/GED Equivalent
• EXPERIENCE - 1 Year of Experience
