Overall Requirements:

The Supply Continuity Specialist (SCS) is responsible for the execution and design of a supply chain strategy for a customer or group of customers managed within a Customer Focused Team (CFT). The SCS is responsible to lead purchasing within the CFT and collaborate with Planning, Customer Service and Account Management to ensure functional and customer requirements are achieved.

Key Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:

Key focus is on leadership within the CFT contributing Supply Chain and Purchasing expertise to the Corporation and customer portfolio. Act as the sourcing liaison between customer groups and the Strategic Sourcing Team Maintain responsibility for a 13 week Clear To Build (CTB) and work with the Sr. Planner and Customer Account Manager to align the plan and report both internally to the business and externally to the customer identifying Risk, change requests, and supply issues. Stand accountable to meet >99% on time kit starts. Key participant in Demand Intake by providing Planning and Customer Operations with material availability and risk assessment. Responsible for Maintaining E&O at less than 5% of active demand. Co- Designer of a plan for every part (PFEP) strategy that is customer specific and meets both the customer and company requirements while adding value to both parties. Manage discrete PPV to honor customer commitments and recover lost PPV and Purchase Order Variance by utilizing alternate supply lines and creative solutions. Coordinate the creation of Scheduled pricing by collaborating with Account Management & SSG to determine the cost/price strategy. Implement Price Books and quoted BOMs. Actively participate in Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) with the customer, reporting supply chain metrics and market sensing data with recommendations to ensure the best cost, flexibility and dependability of the supply pipeline. Review and approve ECOs affecting the AVL. Approvals for exception management (MOQ/Source/logistics) Reporting KPIs to the company and to external partners including suppliers and customers. React and adjust to unfavorable metrics. Participate in projects as a supply chain expert

Qualifications:

Knowledge/Education/Training: APICS or related certification in Business or Management Advanced knowledge and use of MS Office suite, databases and computer based materials management tools High level of professional ethics and conduct Strong belief in and use of partnerships in the global supply chain function Ability to work under pressure and manage many tasks and projects simultaneously. Demonstrated ability in analytical thinking and decision making Ability to utilize commonly accepted information systems and develop new processes to achieve continuous improvement. Strong understanding of product costing concepts and cost management skills

Experience:

Minimum 5 years experience in purchasing/procurement in a manufacturing environment. Experience purchasing electronic components and/or procuring metalwork Demonstrated experience meeting customer (internal and external) objectives Demonstrated experience with the use and development of ERP systems Demonstrated Manufacturing, Engineering, and Customer Service

College education or equivalent relevant experience French/English spoken and written Good computer skills (advanced Excel) Knowledge of electronic components / asset Kinaxis, Rapid Response experience / asset
