Do you have logistics, warehouse, or military supply experience and an eye for detail?Qualified Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Supply Chain Support Specialist for our client in Byron, GA. 
This position supports warehouse operations, inventory management, shipping and receiving, logistics coordination, and data management activities within a fast-paced aerospace and defense support environment.
The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills, experience working with inventory or warehouse management systems, and the ability to accurately manage data, shipping documentation, and inventory records.  **Candidates with prior military logistics, supply, transportation, maintenance, or warehouse experience are highly encouraged to apply.** $18.00 per hour | Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PMAvailable Positions: 2 Key ResponsibilitiesSupply Chain & Logistics Support
  • Process parts and equipment through warehouse management systems and maintain accurate database records.
  • Manage assigned inventory and ensure accountability and accuracy of stock levels.
  • Perform shipping and receiving activities, including documentation, data entry, and record maintenance.
  • Coordinate shipment scheduling, carrier selection, dispatch, and tracking to ensure timely delivery.
  • Review shipping and inventory records to ensure accuracy and compliance with quality standards.
  • Provide administrative and logistical support to warehouse and program operations. 
  • Maintain accurate electronic records and documentation in support of operational and quality requirements.
Inventory & Warehouse Operations
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through routine tracking, reporting, and reconciliation activities.
  • Support material movement, storage, and organization within the warehouse.
  • Assist with inventory audits and cycle counts.
  • Ensure proper packaging and shipment of materials in accordance with applicable military standards and     customer requirements.
  • Follow established procedures for handling domestic, international, and specialized shipments.
Safety & Equipment Operations
  • Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, lifts, pallet jacks, and banding machines.
  • Follow OSHA regulations and company safety procedures at all times.
  • Participate in safety, quality, and operational training programs.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
QualificationsExperience
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, inventory control, supply chain support, or related fields preferred. 
  • Experience within aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or global logistics environments is highly desirable. 
  • Experience handling hazardous materials, large freight, or international shipments is a plus.
  • Prior military logistics, supply, transportation, maintenance, or warehouse experience preferred.
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Ability to successfully complete a background investigation and obtain a security clearance if required 
  • Forklift certification preferred.
Computer Skills
  • Strong computer proficiency required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, databases, or ERP     systems preferred.
  • Strong data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to learn and navigate multiple software platforms 
  • Ability to generate reports, update records, and maintain electronic documentation.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Knowledge of military packaging and labeling standards (MIL-STD 2073, MIL-STD-129, and     MIL-STD-130) is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and recordkeeping abilities.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently when needed.
 Education
  • High school diploma or GED required. 
  • Associate degree in a related field preferred.
