As a Supply Chain Sustainability Intern, you will:
Research emerging sustainability disclosure requirements (e.g., CSRD) and Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) legislation, and assess potential impacts on IBM's supply chain, operations, and supplier engagement programs.
Assess circular supply chain opportunities and develop recommendations to support business value, supply chain resilience, and regulatory readiness.
Use AI-powered tools and IBM technologies (including Client Zero, watsonx, and other analytics platforms) to analyze sustainability data.
Participate in cross-functional projects that align sustainability goals with business value creation.
Attend internal forums and stakeholder discussions to observe strategic partnership development and sustainability innovation in action.
