The Engineer, NA SC System is responsible for integrating all disciplines within the Global and Regional Supply Chain organisation to identify, develop and standardise best practices, develop and maintain a seamless Business Process and drive further digitization and automation opportunities.This position is responsible for supporting all levels of the organisation - supporting Regional & Global Process leadership in creating the right systems strategy to support their regions and functions. Additionally this role will be leading change with business users to continually improve by building capabilities and further leveraging Digital aspects to achieve business results.
Responsibilities
Identify, design, document, implement and communicate improvements related to people, process and systems with data and analytics in the core.
Provide a seamless digital experience by developing intuitive, proactive, and unified digital work environments for functional users.
Develop roadmaps to enhance the system capabilities of functional power users and deploy talent via the HIVE Model to enhance ways of working.
Support daily business needs in achieving best in class indicators, integrating IT and end users on key initiatives.
Work closely with the Business Functions to understand the capabilities of new technologies and build a business case to secure IT resources.
Drive sustainable Business Networks to share learnings across the regions and act as a catalyst for the change management process.
Enhance how we work with data, facilitating correct questions and enabling teams to derive insights from data.
Design, develop and lead implementation of end to end business process transformation leveraging the use of automation and embedded agents to the Global or Regional Supply Chain.
Lead Process assessments to reduce manual work and improve system/process functions.
Drive the creation and maintenance of the Business Case.
Lead and support Value Stream Mapping (VSM) exercises to identify waste, streamline material and information flow, and define the future state of integrated supply chain operations.
Seek and share global best practices across the Colgate environment, maintaining training material and information repositories to reflect Best Practices.
Ensure business processes are aligned with global practices, ensure master data accuracy and governance processes in place.
Understand system solutions in the external market and how they could bring value to Colgate.
Work with Business owners to develop a business case and support the business teams to resolve process issues.
Understand current and future Data requirements and ensure that system solutions can provide meaningful analytics.
Deploy Advanced Systems that are integrated, autonomous, and intelligent to meet evolving business needs.
Build on AI/Agentic-First Platforms using low-code tooling with native data and process integration.
Support Cyber Zero Ambition by ensuring zero-trust manufacturing execution environments and secure system integrations.
Support system upgrades, ensuring seamless transitions.
Lead and manage GSC/GIT initiatives for the Business teams.
Partner with GIT and GPO in process and solution design review with user experience in mind.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field.
4+ years experience in various supply chain / operations or project management roles.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with AI/Agentic platforms and Low-code development tools.
Expert knowledge of our core strategic systems and architecture (SAP ECC/S4, APO, IBP, Kinaxis).
Knowledge of analytics (Snowflake, DOMO).
Experience with Integration tools (EDI, API).
Have the ability to influence and inspire action in others, and respond with vision and agility during periods of growth, disruption or uncertainty to bring about the needed change.
Focus to deliver the required outcomes within the agreed timelines.
Ability to tell a story to build engagement and curiosity about how our supply chain processes and systems work and are driven to improve them.
Ability to identify their own learning needs, set learning goals, find the necessary resources, and evaluate their own knowledge.
Adopting new technologies and building an understanding of what is available in current systems and also what is available externally.
Leading the work of a team to achieve all project goals within the given milestones.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $96,800.00 - $155,000.00 USD
Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
