As the Supply and Inventory Planner you will own end to end supply planning across finished goods and components. This role will play a critical part in translating demand into actionable supply plans, managing inventory health, and partnering cross functionally to support growth, cash flow optimization, and operational excellence.Client DetailsThis organization is a small to medium high growth business in the beauty and personal care space. They are committed to delivering high-quality products and maintaining strong client relationships, while fostering an environment of operational excellence and growth.DescriptionAs the Supply and Inventory Planner you will develop and manage a forward‑looking supply plan for finished products and components across multiple suppliers and contract manufacturers.Convert demand projections into production and purchasing recommendations that align with capacity, lead times, and inventory objectives.Share forward‑looking forecasts with suppliers and manufacturing partners to support capacity planning and material readiness.Evaluate and communicate supply‑driven cash requirements in partnership with Finance.Track supplier performance, including reliability, lead times, MOQs, and capacity; flag issues early and drive resolution plans.Oversee inventory accuracy across all locations, including 3PLs and manufacturing partners.Monitor coverage metrics such as Weeks of Supply by SKU, identifying shortages or excess and partnering with Procurement on corrective actions.Establish and maintain safety stock levels and replenishment parameters to minimize disruption.Own month‑end inventory processes, including reconciliation, inventory health reviews, and excess & obsolete analysis.Partner with Strategic Sourcing to ensure BOMs are accurate and up to date, supporting cost transparency and effective planning.Contribute to S&OP discussions by highlighting capacity risks, supply constraints, and inventory trends.Work closely with Finance to support working capital and inventory investment goals.Support new product introductions by coordinating material availability against launch timelines.Coordinate with Procurement and Logistics to ensure materials arrive on time and transit performance is closely monitored.This role is hybrid, on-site two days in West Los Angeles, CA MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
