PURPOSE STATEMENT
The Supply Network Planner's responsibility is to develop weekly 3 18 month production and inventory requirements for manufacturing operations accounting for new product rollouts, planned operational initiatives, and seasonal product planning.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES
Manage and develop the capacity planning models for 3-5 manufacturing facilities
Conduct monthly Supply Agreement process for designated manufacturing facilities and product categories in support of Sales and Operations Planning Process
Establish inventory planning and production scheduling parameters to be executed by Master Production Schedulers within each supply facility
Manage working capital investments (raw materials, conversion, and finished goods) for designated production facilities to achieve lowest total delivered cost
Develop monthly and Sales and Operations Planning workbooks for Product Business Teams
Represent Customer Service & Logistics (CS&L) within designated Product Business Teams providing support on Inventory Management, Transportation, Warehousing, and Customer Service issues
Analyze and review inventory stocking policies and strategies quarterly in order to minimize spoilage, maximize service, and maximize inventory turns
Analyze inventory investment costs and trends to ensure they are in alignment with departmental and company objectives
Analyze total delivered costs (manufacturing and distribution) and recommend and implement changes process and strategy to achieve lowest Supply Chain cost
Provide inventory management for selected Contract Manufactured products
Develop and execute warehouse strategies in alignment with Distribution Center Sales and Operation Planning process
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
2 yrs. experience in Job Offered, Fulfillment Planning or related field, which experience must have included supply chain or fulfillment planning experience with perishable materials or materials having a short shelf life, advanced planning systems for enterprise resource planning and financial analysis and network modeling
