Staff Perm is seeking a Supply Planner to help manage the supply chain. You will deal with external vendors on planning inventory and PO Purchase Orders and manage discrepancies at warehouses, manage past due purchase orders. We are seeking someone with good supplier experience and working with suppliers .

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Contract
PAY RATE: $25.00 hour
LOCATION: Richardson, TX 75080
SCHEDULE: 8:00am to 5:00pm M-F

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide overall functional support to the Supply Planning team.
• Manage post creation PO process from supplier order confirmation to complete invoice reconciliation.
• Ensure timely order confirmation compliance and accurate updates in SAP.
• Coordinate with suppliers, warehouses and A/P to ensure on time shipments as well as timely resolution of warehouse receiving discrepancies and invoice discrepancies.
• Negotiate delivery expedites and recovery plans with critical suppliers.
• Proactively identify supply risks and propose alternate sourcing, substitution, or logistics solutions to avoid service disruptions.
• Proactive review of inventory rebalancing opportunities to maximize working capital efficiency.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Associates degree or equivalent experience 
• 1-3 years in supply chain management with direct experience in direct procurement, supply planning or supplier management.
• 1+ years experience working with vendors
• 1+ years expereince supporting planning inventory and/or PO Purchase Orders 
• Hands-on experience with SAP or similar ERP system
• MS Excel skills

• Strong analytical skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
