Job Title: Supply Planning Coordinator
Location: Portage, MI
Type: Contract
Compensation: $25- $29.99/hr
Work Model: Onsite

We are seeking a detail-oriented Supply Planning Analyst to support end-to-end supply planning activities for manufacturing plants and third-party suppliers within a defined franchise portfolio. This role will partner closely with production scheduling, procurement, customer service, and supply planning leadership to ensure demand requirements are translated into executable supply plans. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, planning system experience, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced supply chain environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and maintenance of supply plans for manufacturing plants and third-party suppliers
  • Assist in creating Master Resource Plans based on current demand signals and forecast requirements
  • Analyze capacity plans to identify potential supply constraints, bottlenecks, or underutilization risks
  • Support mitigation planning and escalation of supply risks to Supply Planning leadership
  • Collaborate with production scheduling and procurement teams to operationalize and execute supply plans
  • Monitor inventory levels and support safety stock planning activities based on demand variability and lead times
  • Track supply plan execution performance, including back orders, lead times, and supply deviations
  • Support product launch and phase-out planning activities within the supply planning process
  • Maintain supply planning master data accuracy within planning systems and ERP platforms
  • Assist with reporting, KPI tracking, and root cause analysis for supply performance issues
  • Participate in daily, weekly, and monthly supply planning and execution processes
  • Communicate supply risks, constraints, and planning updates to cross-functional stakeholders

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in supply planning, demand planning, production planning, or related supply chain functions
  • Experience using ERP or planning systems such as SAP, JDE, or equivalent platforms
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage and interpret supply planning data and performance metrics
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with operations and supply chain teams
  • Ability to identify and escalate supply risks and performance deviations
