Job Title: Supply Replenisher Associate I
Job Duration: 5-month contract (possible extension)
Job Location: Neptune, NJ 07753
Shift: Between 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (flexible options: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, or 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
Pay Rate: 20.00/hr
 
Job Description:
• Supports the implementation of lean supply management principles within the BU Laboratory network, including materials and supplies movement and replenishment to point of use in the laboratory.
• Performs daily replenishment activities and cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory levels and material availability.
• Collaborates with laboratory staff and supply chain analysts to maintain efficient material flow and prevent stockouts.
• Executes standard business processes for managing material flow across multiple facility types, including Laboratories, RRL, PSC, and IOP.
• Participates in continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing cost and cycle time in supply replenishment processes.
• Maintains accurate physical inventory records through regular cycle counts and audits.
• Supports visual management systems such as Kanban and mistake-proofing initiatives (e.g., labeled materials with photos).
 
Requirements:
• 1–2 years of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, inventory, or supply chain environments.
• High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
 
Skills:
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels.
• Good organizational and planning abilities.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, and Visio (highly desirable).
• Knowledge of inventory control systems is a plus.
