Tessera is seeking a dedicated and reliable Supply Specialist with a positive attitude. The Supply Specialist is responsible for executing a broad range of logistical functions in support of Army operations, with emphasis on purchasing, property accountability, and warehouse management. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of U.S. Army supply chain procedures and proficiency in systems such as GCSS-Army, PBUSE, Maximo, and Workday. Typical duties include but are not limited to: Procurement and purchasing: Process supply requests, create purchase orders, and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services Inventory management: Monitor stock levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and maintain accurate records using systems like Maximo, GCSS-Army, and Workday Documentation and reporting: Prepare and maintain detailed records of transactions, receipts, and property transfers; generate reports for audits and leadership review Property accountability: Track and manage government and company-owned property, ensuring compliance with Army regulations and internal policies Warehouse operations: Receive, store, and issue supplies and equipment; maintain organized and secure storage areas; support tool and equipment management Audit and compliance support: Assist with internal and external audits, reconcile discrepancies, and ensure all documentation meets regulatory standards System utilization: Operate supply chain software platforms to input data, scan documents, and manage workflow efficiently Customer service and coordination: Communicate with internal teams and external partners to resolve supply issues and support operational needs Qualifications: Basic working knowledge of storage and inventory control procedures Ability to receive, store, issue, ship, turn-in, and inspect materials and stock Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Internet Explorer, and Maximo Familiarity with GCSS Army, DCMA PCARS, E-Tools, and government purchasing preferred Ability to operate warehouse equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records Effective communication and problem-solving skills when working with suppliers and internal teams Physical Requirements: Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Position duties may require working outside in the weather. Conditions may include rain, cold and/or heat.
