Supply Tech II
Marshalltown Hospital
Shift/Schedule: As-Needed (PRN); approximately 8–12 hours per month, typically daytime hours Monday–Friday between 8:00 AM–12:00 PM

Join our Supply Chain team at Marshalltown Hospital and help ensure caregivers have the supplies and equipment they need to deliver exceptional patient care. As a Supply Tech II, you’ll play an essential behind-the-scenes role in supporting clinical teams by keeping supplies stocked, organized, and readily available across the hospital.

 

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys staying organized, solving problems, and working in a fast-paced healthcare environment. You’ll collaborate closely with clinical departments and fellow team members to maintain inventory, respond to urgent supply needs, and support smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities:

• Replenish supply closets and maintain appropriate stock levels throughout the hospital
• Accurately perform inventory counts and identify usage trends or irregularities
• Order supplies using inventory management systems and ensure timely restocking
• Support optimization of supply organization, quantities, and workflow efficiencies
• Replenish and inspect crash carts and other specialty carts for readiness
• Respond promptly to urgent supply and equipment requests from clinical teams
• Receive, check in, and organize incoming inventory deliveries
• Monitor equipment availability and coordinate repairs when needed
• Communicate supply shortages, out-of-stock items, and inventory concerns to leadership
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient supply environment

Qualifications:

Education: 

• High School Diploma or equivalent
