Role Description The Supply Technician is a part-time, on-site role located in Syracuse, NY, responsible for supporting clinical and non-clinical areas by ensuring accurate and timely availability of supplies. Day-to-day tasks include receiving, unpacking, and organizing medical and non-medical supplies; restocking units and storage areas; and maintaining clean, orderly supply rooms. The role involves monitoring inventory levels, rotating stock, checking expiration dates, and assisting with periodic inventory counts and audits. The Supply Technician will collaborate with nursing, clinical, and administrative teams to respond to supply requests, resolve shortages, and support efficient supply chain operations in alignment with hospital policies and safety standards.

• Demonstrated skills in Inventory Management and Inventory Control to accurately track, replenish, and document supply usage.

• Knowledge of Supply Chain Management and Supply Management principles to support efficient ordering, receiving, and distribution processes.

• Strong Communication skills to work effectively with clinical teams, supervisors, and vendors, and to report issues clearly and promptly.

• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

• Basic computer skills for using inventory systems and electronic records; familiarity with hospital or healthcare settings is beneficial.

• Ability to lift, move, and transport supply items safely, and to stand or walk for extended periods.
• \n
• High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in materials management, warehouse, or healthcare supply roles is preferred.
