About the Agency

BRC is an intermediate care facility for adults aged 21 and over. Our program is operated under the Mississippi Department of Mental Health. This position will be located at Ridgeview in Magee, MS. For more information regarding this position, please contact HR at 601-867-5000 ext. 75079 or 75098.

About the Position

First-level supervisory position accountable for professional program planning and management for a treatment sub-unit or multiple residential locations. Develops, implements, coordinates, and evaluates individual habilitation or treatment plans for individuals with developmental disabilities. Supervises direct care staff. • Receive and distribute mail. • Monthly In-Services • Answer and assist with Crisis calls. • Attends All Admission/Discharge Meetings for Behavior Services Department and take minutes. • Prepare Charts and documentation Books for Crisis Support and Respite Admissions. • Update All Charts Daily. • Complete Rounds for Behavior Services Department as Required. • Update Switchboard with All Admits and Discharges. • Prepare Safe Bed Program Sheets. • Complete Safety Reviews Monthly. • Ensure Disaster Drills are Completed and Filed Monthly. • Prepare Grooming Kits. • Completes Supply Requisitions and Pick Up Supplies from Warehouse. • Enters All Maintenance Work Orders. • Prepare Fuelman Report Monthly. • Ensure vans and golfcarts are maintenance monthly and vehicle logs turned in monthly. • Assists with transportation as needed. (Tours, Clinic Trips, Recreation Trips, etc.) • Complete Kronos as needed. • Relieve staff for lunch breaks as needed. • Other Duties as Assigned

What youll need to be Successful

Ability to assign daily tasks, train new employees and assist with preparing, cooking and serving meals.

Preferred Qualifications

Typically requires High School Diploma or high school equivalency, and 3-5+ years of experience. May require a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) designation.
